I have always maintained that in each every woman's jewelry wardrobe, a dress watch should be included. And this particular one is simply splendid! The face is highlighted by a geometric surround of calibre-cut sapphires and (gasp!) French cut diamonds in a quintessential art Deco motif. The sapphires have a deep blue color, and the French cuts are all oh-so bright and white! The appraiser notes that he has not seen the lozenge kite, and quadrilateral cut sapphires such as these in any similar-era watch (how special is this?).
